Welcome to CSRD Professional, your strategic partner in navigating the corporate sustainability and reporting landscape. By using our website and services, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions.
“CSRD Professionals” refers to CSRD Professional, with a registered address at Benelux Building, Unit B.05 Van Heuven Geodhartlaan 121, 1181 KK Amstelveen, operating with the contact information: +31 643050753 and info@csrdprofessional.com.
Client: The natural or legal person who enters into or has entered into an assignment agreement with CSRD Professional.
Assignment: The assignment agreement between the Client and CSRD Professional based on which CSRD Professional makes every effort towards the Client to recruit and select a Professional for employment with the Client or to mediate between a Professional and the Client with regard to the performance of (interim) work by Professional at Client.
Professional: Any natural or legal person included in the CSRD Professional database and/or selected person nominated to the client.
CSRD Professionals offers expert guidance and support in sustainability compliance, recruitment for (interim) auditors, and comprehensive resources for CSRD compliance. We aim to help you navigate the intricacies of sustainability reporting and provide the necessary support.
These general terms and conditions (the “Conditions”) apply to all quotations and Assignments between CSRD Professional and a Client, whereby the CSRD Professional is instructed by the Client to recruit and select a Professional for employment with the Client or to mediate between a Professional and the Client with regard to the performance of work by the Professional for the Client.
As a user of our services, you acknowledge the significance of compliance with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and commit to taking proactive measures for compliance in a timely manner.
A legally binding assignment comes into effect when the Client commissions CSRD Professional, and CSRD Professional accepts the task.
The Client is obligated to furnish CSRD Professional, upon request, with all pertinent information deemed necessary for the successful execution of the assignment.
CSRD Professional diligently performs assignments with a best-effort obligation without providing further assurances concerning specific outcomes unless expressly agreed upon in writing by both parties.
To ensure the proper execution of the assignment, CSRD Professional may, at its discretion, enlist the services of third parties.
When CSRD Professional offers advice or information that could be construed as such, it constitutes an expression of opinion, not formal advice, for which CSRD Professional holds no responsibility.
An agreed-upon timeframe is considered a strict deadline only if explicitly stated as such in the written agreement. Otherwise, it serves as an approximate guideline.
The general terms and conditions used by the Client are expressly excluded from the Assignment between CSRD Professional and the Client.
Changes or additions to the Assignment or these Terms and Conditions only apply between the parties if these have been agreed in writing.
You are responsible for providing accurate and truthful information when using our services. You must adhere to all applicable laws and regulations regarding data protection and privacy.
The Client undertakes to provide CSRD Professional with all necessary information and cooperation that CSRD Professional requires to carry out the Assignments. CSRD Professional may suspend the work as long as the Client does not comply with the obligation in this provision. CSRD Professional is never liable for any damage and/or delay caused by failure to comply with the information and cooperation obligation referred to in this article or failure to do so on time or in a timely manner.
The Assignment that has been entered into for a fixed period ends by operation of law after the expiry of the fixed duration or on the end date stated in the Assignment, without any termination action being required by either party.
An Assignment entered into for an indefinite period can be canceled in writing subject to a notice period of 1 month.
Either party can immediately cancel the Assignment in writing, without a notice period, if one of the parties is declared bankrupt or granted a suspension of payments. Both parties must promptly notify each other of these situations.
The Client is at all times responsible for its choice of a Professional.
CSRD Professional does not guarantee the performance of the work by a Professional. The Client must at all times check the suitability and qualifications of a Professional.
We take your privacy seriously. Our Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, and protect your personal information. By using our services, you consent to our data handling practices as described in our Privacy Policy.
CSRD Professionals will not be liable for any direct or indirect damages or losses incurred while using our services. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of the information provided and disclaim any liability for your use of such information.
CSRD Professional is not liable for damage caused to third parties or to the Client due to an error by a Professional. The Client fully indemnifies CSRD Professional against all claims from third parties related to the work performed by the Professional.
Without prejudice to the other provisions of these Terms and Conditions, any liability of CSRD Professional is always limited to the amount charged by CSRD Professional to the Client in the context of the execution of the Assignment.
CSRD Professional is never liable for indirect damage, which expressly, but not exclusively, includes business damage, consequential damage, damage due to delays, and damage resulting from lost profits.
The Client’s right to claim compensation will, in any case, lapse one (1) year after the event that caused the damage occurred.
Before, during, and after termination of the Assignment, the Parties are obliged to maintain confidentiality of all information whose disclosure could reasonably be expected to harm the party to whom it relates.
The Client must at all times treat the (personal) data of any Professional confidentially. The Client is not permitted to provide any information relating to any Professional to third parties or to introduce any Professional to third parties.
By using our services, you consent to receive communication from CSRD Professionals, which may include updates, newsletters, and relevant information. You can unsubscribe from these communications at any time.
All content, materials, and intellectual property presented on our website and services are the property of CSRD Professionals and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
You agree not to engage in any illegal, harmful, or disruptive activities while using our services. This includes but is not limited to unauthorized access, data theft, and any actions that may damage our platform or reputation.
We reserve the right to terminate your access to our services at our discretion, with or without cause, at any time. Termination may result in the removal of your account and access to our platform.
CSRD Professionals reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Your continued use of our services implies your acceptance of any revised terms.
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Dutch court system. Any disputes arising from your use of our services shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Netherlands Courts.
